By buying from Amazon you're basically condoning, aiding and abetting tax avoidance. The socially responsible thing to do is steal a download. Or buy a CD at your local car boot.

FLAC is your friend.
There's many places to purchase high quality digital music files, just google. hdtracks.com etc. limited libraries though.It's a good idea to buy HD stuff rather than "borrow" as a lot of free FLAC stuff is reprocessed 320kbps mp3 source files. i.e. crap.
