Long shot, anyone wanting to size up their Pro Team jersey to a large, and fancy swapping me their medium? I seem to have lost some weight and my grey/pink large is getting a bit flappy.
I assumed that to keep the cosmos balanced, someone must've gained weight so this was worth a shot...

Those that have purchased new and broken in - Just how tight were they out of the box?
Able to pull on with some work? Pulloff inside out?
Flex hand but not freely - very tight
Fat fingers bulging out of the finger holes like a fat girl in a tube top?

I ordered medium - hand measurement was just a slight bit under large - but I was planning for breaking them in and getting some stretch in the leather.

Mine were very tight. Flex hand but not freely tight, but not quite fat girl in tube top tight. They're lovely now they've stretched to fit.

My black ones are battered now, and I'm scared to wear my white ones....does that help?

I would say don't get them too tight, the perforations in the leather will stretch over time and will become misshapen and susceptible to damage if you have them too tight. It is important to wash / care for them all the time, adding leather balm as often as you can to keep the leather supple. Sweat will damage the leather making it hard, add this to over stretching and you will get tears. I have owned three pairs, but now prefer the classic mitts.
