It's really not a good idea to leave kittens at home on their own for long hours. If you are both working long hours, wouldnt it be better to get a young cat? Patch was between 1-2 when I got her and she still had a kitten look and everything except she was already house trained and I could happily leave her be during the day. Kittens are only kittens for a matter of months...
And I will always say to people to adopt, there are plenty of all kinds of cats from each and every charity. And the good thing with getting cats from a charity is that they are usually tested for charterers so you are less likely getting the unknown. Patch is exactly what it says on the tin.
In September we'll both be working for quite long hours again so that didn't seem ideal.
I thought with the choice between three weeks generally at home with a couple of days away or a time when we're both working a lot the former might be better.
We haven't found any for definite yet, but we've been looking at Pets 4 Homes so far, any other advice on where to find some would be great. Long haired tabbies would be ideal.
