  • In September we'll both be working for quite long hours again so that didn't seem ideal.

I thought with the choice between three weeks generally at home with a couple of days away or a time when we're both working a lot the former might be better.

We haven't found any for definite yet, but we've been looking at Pets 4 Homes so far, any other advice on where to find some would be great. Long haired tabbies would be ideal.

  • It's really not a good idea to leave kittens at home on their own for long hours. If you are both working long hours, wouldnt it be better to get a young cat? Patch was between 1-2 when I got her and she still had a kitten look and everything except she was already house trained and I could happily leave her be during the day. Kittens are only kittens for a matter of months...

And I will always say to people to adopt, there are plenty of all kinds of cats from each and every charity. And the good thing with getting cats from a charity is that they are usually tested for charterers so you are less likely getting the unknown. Patch is exactly what it says on the tin.
