Real classic bike which is Raleigh at their best, well built bikes with quality components and a classic British style. This bike is in original spec and fairly good condition with a few spots of surface rust but nothing alarming.
Twelve speed shifting is all done through Campagnolo with SR cranks and Maillard hubs and Weinmann rims doing the spinning whilst the stopping is done by good performing Weinmann Centre pulls.
This bike runs, shifts, stops and turns heads nicely enough, nothing is stuck and the BB and HS have had a touch of lube. The tyres are brand new Schwalbe gumwalls making this pretty much ready to roll but as ever it is worth giving everything a once over before you ride.
