Cav crossed the line with 27 others at 23 minutes 57.

• #3103
Cav to go all out tomorrow then, love the sprint on the Champs
-
• #3104
lmnh! tomorrow afternoon to shout pointlessly at some coloured light whilst Greipel beats him again : (
-
• #3105
That was a pretty good result.
I'd like to see some of Cav's non-Etixx friends helping him out tomorrow. -
• #3106
Hes going to have to piggy back his way to the finish on every other leadout train he can find
-
• #3108
Nairo's time up Alpe D'Huez puts him in some pretty rum company.
-
• #3109
Bless.
I was like that at the end of the Marmotte though. Although my media scrum was somewhat smaller.

• #3110
At least we won't be hearing them wittering on about AV being the "Spanish Champion" for a while.

To all the idiots who say only Froome gets questioned, can I point out what is happening to Quintana on Twitter right now?
-
• #3112
T-v care to maybe narrow it down to a few tweets out of the billions currently being tweeted?
-
• #3113
What's happening? Doping allegations?
-
• #3114
Anyone else notice Froome ejecting snot rockets the last couple of days? Porte is suggesting now that Froome has been under the weather too.
-
• #3115
Exactly the set of people who question Froome asking the same about Quintana. Ross Tucker, Vayer, Digger Forum etc.
-
• #3116
The usual morons then.
-
• #3117
What's happening?
Nothing if it's Twitter you're talking about. :)
-
• #3118
Yeah he was sneezing and wheezing after the stage when hugging Dave. Could just be shattered but also seems to be under the weather.
-
• #3119
I love Dave Millar but that piece about AdH. Deary me.
Also, digger forum (and various others) default position appears to be that whoever wins is doping.

• #3120
Thibaut winning the stage after hitting the deck earlier this week made me happy.

I will watch football and get some of the tribalism in that but spitting at anyone is low. Spitting at someone pedalling their lungs out up a mountainside is beyond me. It can't be "team" loyalty as teams change regularly. Can it be "rival rider" loyalty? Nationalism? Or contempt for (believed) doping ? - which given things like the Astana DS is a bloody joke.
Sorry, beyond me...

I think you are reading too much in to it. They - the spitting, piss throwing - are just pricks who are perceiving a weakness and using it to justify their disgraceful actions
-
• #3123
I too saw the spitting today, gross! Someone actually threw pi.. at him too? FFS! I'm no fan of his but that is a new low surely. There will always be doping allegations regarding TdF winners/leaders, all the time they're not French. So we'd better get used to the idea! For some time! Lol
-
• #3124
Was it definitely spitting? I saw it too and was pretty sure but then I missed all the post-match interviews and wondered if anyone mentioned it
-
• #3125
Yes I'm sure it was. Foome did look back, as already mentioned
So brilliantly.
