It's easier out here to certify organic honey since most of our arable land is within 100 kms of the US border: Put your hives down beyond that limit and much of the time you're in pseudo-wilderness.

Sounds plausible indeed. Doesn't work that way in Europe I'm afraid.

Thanks,
I'm 1.78m and feel comfortable on frames about 53cm height.
road frames, mind. I own a recent 17" Kona Unit, so do you know how that sizing compares to older geometry? -

What is the q-factor on the On-One External Bearing Track Crankset?
At the planet-x webshop some staff has answered 170mm-175mm which seems like a lot ->http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/CSOOTC/on-one-external-bearing-track-cranksetAre they like omniums (135mm)?...
Are there any other narrow q-factor crankset out there that are cheap, cheapish with 165mm crankarms?
-
• #69884
The staff are fucking idiot if they think q-factor is the crank length.
Just buy it, they're usually one width due to external BB, cheap at the moment too.

Campag and Miche are narrow. Not sure Miche actually ends up 'narrow' if you use a 110mm spindle though.

Thanks
I have a road campagnolo that is 147mm q-factor on a 102mm bb so cannot get narrower. Campagnolo pista isnt cheap.... ?
Im thinking about some old shimano road square taper and then putting it on a 103mm BB. Hmmm. .. for cheapness! -

Are you looking for under tape routing?
-
• #69888
This is exactly what I did for 1x10 for CX. I went with Shimano 600 and a square taper bb (107 IIRC, 103 was too narrow around the 38t chainring and chainstay).
It's slightly narrower than the regular Shimano road stance, which is nice.

Difficult to measure because you can only fit the cranks at 180°, and the crank face isn't flat, but I measure 140ish.

thanks for the trouble. That looks promising!

Does anyone know of a reasonable/not-horrific route from Sheffield to the Yorkshire Dales without a) going through Bradford or b) going over ALL the hills?

I just saw a track bike in Cycle Surgery for £599. It was a brand I've not heard of, and now I can't find it anywhere. It's in their Velodrome shop so I think it's an exclusive and not on their website. The brand is something like Dessena, or something else which sounds like an Italian footballer. Any idea what I was looking at?

I just called them in the end. It was this:

That frame alone retails for €820, so £599 for a complete bike is awesome.

Probably comes pre-crashed :-)

I feel increadibly stupid for asking this, but it's so long since I done anything like this....
How to I buy a high quality mp3 of a track?
I don't want anything from Apple because I'll probably want to move it later and put it on a CD and I can't be fucked with their bullshittery. Although I might be making a bit much of that as it's so long since I've bought a track from itunes.

Buy? Buy an mp3?

high quality mp3
Isn't that an oxymoron?
