Morning. Just checking back in before tomorrow.
Hmmm. Weather not looking great is it? #digsgabbaout
So no worries if people don't fancy it.
I will definitely be riding though.
In terms of pace, I just want to flag that I can't do this at smashfest pace. I'm at the end of an 8 week training block and, frankly, I'm fucking tired. I was struggling to get over Blackfriars bridge just now after training last night! So, I need this to be a steady ride with some nice stretches at tempo. If that suits people, great. If people want to smash it, just make sure you have the route with you and be prepared for me to suck your wheel the whole way :-)
Anyway, hope to see some in the morning.

Might be up for it. Can you remind me what time and where, please?

Good luck mate. I broke myself this morning and will most certainly not be joining! You love a soggy ride dontcha (rule #9)!?!?

Went out today and have some kind of stomach bug. Many apologies.
Today was vomit-tastic.
I feel like death. -

Hi. Meeting at Hither Green station at 8am. The route is up thread, in case there's somewhere along the way that is better suited.

There is a certain satisfaction with riding in grim weather. Well done on your ride today. Looks lumpy.

Sorry to hear you're sick.

I know what you mean... For less than a few hours you feel like a double 'ard Belgian bastard... But after that I get really cold and have a little weep coz I'm actually an English fairy.

I agree- especially in Summer. Though I get the feeling that riding yesterday (in totally inappropriate clothing) may have contributed somewhat to the illnessness today.

Sorry going to have to bail last minute on this, legs still haven't recovered from Thursday session and just came back from a mates birthday so not really physically prepared! =(
Have fun tomorrow guys! =)

I'll be riding a bit later in the day. I have a date with some French toast, coffee and granola. Might have a crack at something flatter, if anyone wants to join?

Sorry to have missed you all this morning.
I had a lovely ride in the wet with a club mate. Definitely grim and definitely satisfying.
Hope to catch you all soon.

Kudo Tom! Need more training soon! Hopefully the weather will pick up soon!

Given the weather good as thread as any. I'm in for mid-morning (say 8:30-9) laps at Regents tomorrow if anyone fancies joining. I could even be persuaded to go with gears, too.

Depending on work, I might do a stink on Tuesday morning, though if probably be 6:30am
If it is as bad as the weather suggests- I will not be riding, but hiding in my flat till the rain goes away.
