Hoke, Is it worth adding slime or stans fluid to the rear tube as a bit more protection for rear flats, might be enough to get you to work in time or back home in the rain if you pick up something sharp.
Thinking of this, but I think if it does happen if I get a puncture I will just get a proper puncture resistance tyres (and swallow my pride and get on the train =/)
You don't need to take the wheel off to repair a puncture - just pop the tube out at the point it's punctured and patch it. Easy. Takes some time if you're cack-handed like I am, but that's just recovery time for the post-repair catch-up sprint.
