Did you manage to save the seatpost as well?

Not this one. It was badly oxidised visually so the owner had no interest in keeping it. Below the seat clamp it was in pretty bad shape too.

You could franchise that I reckon or open up branch London. maybe like a concession in a bike shop.

I reckon £60 is good value but not for my shit frames, good frames like that De Rosa!

If it hadn't sacrificial welded into the tube completely, I find plus gas, and/or the heating/cooling trick will do the job quickly.

If it HAS welded then you're either into sequential reamers (almost certainly seatube man's method) or corrosive methods.

I've tried to get a local engineering shop round our way to semi permanently set up.a horizontal borer at 27.2mm which I've used previously successful with no damage to paint or frame. It took literally 3 seconds to make toast of the SP.

His argument though is that there's simply not enough business there to have it set up full time. Maybe in London though.... You can pick em up for a few hundred sovs on ebay.

It's also the nuts for getting out stuck stems and corroded aluminium bottom bracket cups. A bike co-op would be a ideal location for it. Once set up piss easy to operate.

£60 is a fair price for saving a quality frame. A lot of people think nothing on dropping £££s for shiny bling they can show off with.
