The look like they could Taiwan/China direct carbon wheels. Similar to these; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/960g-weight-wheel-carbon-fiber-20mm-tubular-700C-road-racing-carbon-wheel-set-/252012080004?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aad172b84
They come in tub and clincher so could be either. One of the other guys in the shop bought a pair of rims from http://www.light-bicycle.com and laced them to a circus monkey front/dt rear hub and he's happy with them. Not had any troubles.
