Have you heard about Henderson's formula?

Henderson-Hasselbalch?
-
• #129
no, the other one, the modern artist/ illuminati. his forumula helps to determine how much gold colour a man should have in his life. Basically, this is the formula:
RAL code of your favourite colour + RAL code of the colour you hate / RAL code of golden yellow colour. It is measured in gramms.
If i have those crown valve caps, I will have over 10 gramms over the norm.

real talk tho where do you get those valve caps?

• #132
Well I didn't know that!

Trying more comfortable bar and stem combo, it is great. However, the headset keeps loosening so I have ordered a new fork. They asked for 155£ but after a bit of haggling got it for 100£. They already had pista gp fork in right size, it is in full chrome.

Turned out nice! Lovely colour on that frame.
What's wrong with the headset/fork? I remember you had some trouble with it, but why is it loosening exactly? Can't be fixed?
-
• #138
@Tijs as the steerer was cut way too short there is not enough thread for the top headset nut to hold onto. (superglue could have fixed it but only for a while).
thanks @HHC. the front end will be all chrome. i saw pelizzoli pista gp on pedalroom with chrome fork and decided to get one too
@timbre riserlyfe is the way for me, especially if you ride in london traffic.
thanks for nice comments

• #143
you are being polite, it is complete shit like the the rest of this bike
-
• #144
They asked for 155£ but after a bit of haggling got it for 100£
Why are they're asking money when they cut the original fork too short? or am I missing something?
-
• #145
I cut the fork myself cause there is no proper bike shop like yours in my local area. If I get some time this week I am coming over there for a bb fit on a snow leopard.

While the stack height of the Chris King GripNut is higher, the lock nut and adjusting ring are one piece as oppose to two pieces like your (as illustrated in the picture).
Meaning you should be able to use the existing fork.

I can't pay another 100 pound for that headset since a new fork is on its way, ordered two weeks ago. If it never gets here however, will have to get that gripnut so thank you for the advice about it.

I can understand, it's a solution if you can't wait for a while, best suggestion is to keep an eye out for one if it can be brought for less than £100.
Jere's hoping Pelizzoli's communication improved slightly..

how are with new fork?
-
• #150
It's alright, need new Campagnolo to get it in shape: chainset, headset, bb and hubs.
Plus other Italian parts. But I can't find modern tubular rims in silver colour made in Italy as well modern silver spokes made in Italy.Plus, I am not sure about using PMP Standard Titanium Seatpost 27.2mm as this is the only Italian made modern seatpost I could find in silver.
All of this requires lots of money so this will take shape next year.
