• Some assistance required please:

System Six + Hollowgram SISL + SRM (mounted on Hollowgram obviously).

What combination of axle and spacers works? The original 104mm axle blatantly doesn't, the rear of the SRM hits the frame before the drive side cranks bolt is anywhere near tight. This is using FSA bearings, SI bearing covers, 3 x 0.5mm spacers, and the wavey washer. The SRM is properly fitted, the lockring flush to the rear of the cranks.

    Cheers,

  • You need either the old SRM specific axle & bearing shield or the new 109mm axle I believe.

You can DIY it and grind off the lip on the 104mm spindle then adjust from the NDS if you are feeling handy.

The rear cover is a pretty crude bit of plastic really, not surprised if it has a profile.

  • Cheers Howard. I was surprised by how crude it was to in fairness. I will try and track down an SRM axle I think before turning down this one.
