The 180 miles was a pleasure on these! I have since used them on the flitch way (disused railway line) and the towpath along the rivers stort and lee, as well as some local trails! The tyres are fantastic and smooth the ride...even more so, now that I dropped the pressure from 70psi to 50....I think that is the sweet spot for me.
I feel your wife's pain though! I've never spent that much on a pair of tyres before, but now they've had about 250 or miles in lots of rough conditions, I think I can say that I'm glad I dropped the dosh on them......I'll go for the 42c next time!
Cheers. Sounds like they may be worth the dosh. Will get the last bit of life out of the paselas over the rest of the summer, and see what availability is like early autumn.
