• To spoil your fun even more, just reviewed the garmin and my 54 min power (8 laps, 22 miles) was only 5W lower. So I guess I suck at pushing myself out of my comfort zone into the pain cave but am reasonably good at pacing. If I wasn't so morbidly obese my w/kg might even be classed as 'average'. I think the fact that you weigh approximately 0.5 6pts (3pts?) might swing things in your favour on proper non-park roads.

  • Normalised or average? Chaingang style rides where you're on and off the power can inflate NP. I can do a 20 minute session of 1 on/1 off with NP considerably higher than I could ever do in a TT.

  • average, normalised comes in at 307W.

    @jim1985 hovering between 80-82kg, should be around 76. If I did a @Hovis I'd get there, but I think gastroenteritis is a pretty drastic way of achieving it. Off tandem touring in two weeks for a fortnight or so, so that'll help shift things towards a more favourable ratio.
