Pretty sure I've seen carbon posts get seized in alu frames so its not a terrible idea, especially with 2 of the same material

if you use normal grease between carbon and alu then it will chemically bond together. Use carbon assembly paste.

Totally agree. I was just pointing out that just because a material can't corrode, doesn't mean it can't bond to another material

Not sure if it's a bit too dark a hue for you, but I've had the Clement Strada LGG 25c on for a few hundred miles now and they seem to discolour a lot less than the Challenge I had on previously.
Is this because a titanium seatpost and frame can bind/stick through corrosion?
