  • Don't forget to put the right (anti-seize) paste on the seatpost...

Is this because a titanium seatpost and frame can bind/stick through corrosion?

  • Pretty sure I've seen carbon posts get seized in alu frames so its not a terrible idea, especially with 2 of the same material

  • Of course! Gutted. Trying to find a 25c clincher with that light coloured sidewall.

  • Pasela's are too yellow, I'm assuming?

  • if you use normal grease between carbon and alu then it will chemically bond together. Use carbon assembly paste.

  • Totally agree. I was just pointing out that just because a material can't corrode, doesn't mean it can't bond to another material

  • Fuck me this is best fixed bike I've seen in ages!

  • Is that true? Interesting, learn something new every day

  • @d-goods Pasela's. Open Pave CS. Gran Bois Cerf Blue. Compass Cycles Cayuse Pass.

  • Challenge

  • Vitorria Open corsa cs. Lovely tyres.

  • Not sure if it's a bit too dark a hue for you, but I've had the Clement Strada LGG 25c on for a few hundred miles now and they seem to discolour a lot less than the Challenge I had on previously.
