    http://www.stradawheels.co.uk/product/alpine-attack/ .. an alloy wheel set at 1358 claimed and if you swapped the Aivee hubs to Novatec super lights it would be about £130 cheaper for little or no weight change. Probably cheaper still if you can source and build yourself.

  • The pulse sprint rims in that wheelset are 430g but cost £70 on their own instead of the £40 for Arc22 430g rims.

    Hasnt it been shown that tubeless isnt that much lighter as the rim tape is heavier and sealant takes up a lot of weight?

  • Road tubeless is the future! I agree the weight's are similar, unless you're using extreme tyres and tubes like Continental Supersonics, which you are obviously not if your tyres weigh 250g. But if the option is there, then why not use tubeless? The benefits of tubeless as I see them are the self sealing ability and in theory the lower rolling friction.
