Is there a safe way of running a fixed wheel without using a lockring?
If you have to ask that question you shouldn't try it!
(if you were experienced enough to do it you wouldn't be asking the question)
I know it shouldn't be done; the risks are fairly obvious. Hence me asking if there was a safe way of doing it.
There are several OG riders who rode brakeless and lockring less... combination of rotafixing and slowing rather than hop skidding and you'll be fine (not tester approved, nor any implied warranty)
