And it's part of my social life but you don't herr me banging on about it.
Shicko.

Sean Kelly? Carlton Kirby is terrible. Kelly saves it.
Do miss Ned, though.

Read this morning that GT, Gareth Bale and Sam Warburton were all at school together.

Is that what those annoying pop ups are for right at the crucial moments of each stage?

I have to switch to ITV4 just so I dont have to listen to Kellys voice. It sounds a bit like Steven Hawkins but more boring.

Itv has Jens, could be a good or a bad thing though.

Must confess that I have been doing most of my viewing at my deskk on my iPad and that discretion requires that I watch on mute.

David Millar is back for ITV4 this week. Should be interesting.

We need to pick a cyclist we can get to the top of this leaderboard

Froome says he doesn't agree with proven dopers doing TV work. I hope he's sent to interview him.

But Millar saw the light, renounced his past and dedicated his life ever since to a higher calling. St David as he likes to be called now

I believe his full title is Saint David of Maserati.

so here's the deal right: just publish all the power files for all riders for each day in competition. I propose that we know enough about the limits of human ability WRT cardio, vascular, neuro and metabolic performance to pull anyone who looks more than 1-2% above those limitations.

Kerrison said that during that final 15.3 kilometre climb last Tuesday, Froome produced an average power output of 414 wats per kilogram
414 wats per kilogram!
SCIENCE!

The inference is that Froome only weighs 1kg.
Seems legit.

The problem with releasing data is you can't prove a negative, so already people are complaining not enough data has been released, and that the data that has been are lies.
You have to love the internet. At the end of the day most of the people shouting loudest have an agenda, whether its anti-Sky or just to get attention (like Vayer for example), so whatever you do they just keep shouting. Dominant winners of the Tour have never been popular, even when they are French (Anquetil).

Been in Wales for the last week without itv4 and too lazy to fire up Eurosport on the laptop - has been quite fun brushing up on my welsh listening comprehension watching the s4c coverage. It's now been replaced by coverage of the Royal Welsh Show though (animals > bike racing, in Wales)...

touché
I have not watched any ITV4 coverage of this race and have watched everything on Eurosport.
I must say, other than Sean Kelly, it really is the way to go. Yes, I do miss Ned Boulting, but it is a price worth paying.
The Eurosport app is also superb. You can pick and choose which camera to follow and so whole watching television live you can quickly see what is going on at Moto 1 or the finish line. Nice touch that.
