So I took ownership of this Rad Ribble recently:
and was absolutely loving it. So much fun. But then:
Some complicated problem had meant that half of the driveside spokes had caused the rim to crack around the nipple, this was the first to fully go. Pretty dramatic.
So now I need a new wheelset. The bike'll mainly be used as a commuter/shopping bike, though may get drops and used on some longer rides at some point. The Superstar Components Pave 28 Ultra wheelset has £50 off at the minute, which makes it very affordable at £145, but I'm just wondering whether it's almost too nice for what I'll be using it for?
