Hey everyone,

This weekend me and some friends will be attempting the National 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for Brake, the road safety charity. Their aim is to raise road safety awreness of all kinds, to reduce the injuries and deaths on our roads and support those affected by the aftermath of such tragedies.

The 3 Peaks is a gruelling hike that includes the highest peak in England (Scarfell Pike 978m), Scotland (Ben Nevis 1344m) and Wales (Snowdon 1085m). The total ascent is over 2900 meters and covers 22 miles. We begin at the foot of Ben Nevis in the early hours of Saturday 25th July and aim to complete the ascent of all three summits in under 24 hours.

I hope you've got at least one, preferably two dedicated drivers for this - there's a certain irony in giving yourselves 460ish miles of driving under time pressure, while looking to promote road safety.
