Geraint Thomas. What a fucking legend. Rides the TdF with a broken pelvis, and then two years later loses only 40 seconds after nutting a telegraph pole at speed. Rolls to the finish, and cracks some jokes.
-
• #2253
Poor old GT no one likes to be a mobile berm. Awesome grinta to get back on and crack wise at the finish.

Sean Yates got suspended for lobbing that bottle at the camera bike yesterday.

Ahh, I was only being facetious. I'm under no illusions that working in the NHS' frontline is nothing less than one of the most admirable jobs in the country.

Repped. And lots of rep on ice for the first pro to post in that thread.
-
• #2257
Ah, you live in Essex , too! Lol
-
• #2258
For a day only as it was neither a bodyline delivery nor a proper lob.
-
• #2259
Don't get why he did that. Seemed to be no reason for it.

The moto rider (stupidly) stopped between Sagan and the team car from which he needed a wheel.
-
• #2261
It was the mechanic.
-
• #2262
That is debatable.
-
• #2263
Wasn't dude, just replying to a post.
-
• #2264
I love your sense of humour
-
• #2265
As if Sagan would have won the stage without the moto interfering.
-
• #2266
Can you even bruise an ear?
You're asking?

I used to work in Psych liaison in an inner London ED, and I think that post paints a somewhat misleading and stigmatising picture of psychotic patients. I never rolled around in any body fluids, or went to work with a fractured pelvis. GT is nails!
-
• #2268
And I find your post extremely offensive! Fact is fact. But let's just move on eh.
I was just replying to a post about how dangerous A&E can be, 'twas not meant to offend, if it did then I apologise.

Oh for goodness sake. The guy smashed his head into a massive pole, got up, raced to the finish and then cracked out some bants about losing sunglasses he is paid to wear - he's clearly nails, and also number one lad.
Doctors and nurses are also nails, just a different kind of nails.
Wahey! Let's all talk about cycling now.. -
• #2270
Froome's cap was so much better than Sagan's but then he is a mountain biker. Froome just needs to learn to wear it with some jaunty angles
-
• #2271
Is Tony G another Frenchman who's forgotten how to descend?
-
• #2272
I wonder if there's a chance of frustration driving Sagan to burning out chasing a win? Coming second seems to be getting to him.
-
• #2273
Tramadol #alwayslookingforthenegative
But all joking aside he's a proper lad
-
• #2274
Did 'G' mention something about descending in 'single file'.
Awesome.

This is the only type of burnout Sagan understands. Filmed at the Tour of Oman.

I knew there must have been a poo involved. Hopefully he is using the rest day to draw his own collision
