Bought this frame off here a few months ago from @AMAC. Had two options when I recieved it; build it up heavy, shit and 8spd with existing parts OR build it up light, fast and 11spd with new parts. Option two was chosen with a sub 7kg goal. Doesnt sound like a massive challenge with some of the sub 6kg and 5kg builds around but the frameset is already +2kg. This also means I'll be able to get a sub kilo frameset at some point and drop a shedload of weight in one go.
Some standard forum components have been chosen, notably the Planet X skewers coming in at 42g, a fake Enve seatpost at 180g (I may also be able to cut this as I won't need the full 400mm) and a Kalloy Uno in 110mm with the logos acetoned a 114g. There are pictures on scales if anyone is that bothered.
I'd also like some advice on some new wheels to build as I'm unsure on road wheels. They need to be 11speed and alu ideally as I'm going to run Force22 and this bike will probably be ridden in the rain at some point. I weigh around 60-65kg so happy to test out some weak as shit sub 400g rims and low spoke counts.
Frame is a 54cm CAAD6 Saeco with BB30 btw. I'll post up some other individual components in a bit but heres bare frame weight for now
Also looking for some Force22 shifters if anyones got any going, as RRP is a massive pisstake
