Which should I beleive? Device or Connect's Elevation Correction?

Whichever one you want. Neither will be very accurate.

Meh! I wanted a definitive answer, thats not fair ! :) (but thanks anyway).

Best I take out a plumb line and a very very long tape measure next time I'm hillock climbing?
