My Garmin Edge Touring doesn't have a Barometric Altimeter. When I upload a ride to Garmin Connect I see that Elevation corrections are enabled and the recorded figure on the device is usually more than displayed on the Connect page.
However (dot dot dot), if I look at my Personal Records section of Connect my logged Elevation is the data recorded on the device, Errr....which makes it look like I've climbed 200M more than I have on the last ride.
Which should I beleive? Device or Connect's Elevation Correction?
