Not feeling the blue grips at all but they'll do for now. Will ride it around for a bit and see what tweaks are needed. Apologies for fugly black spacer but the ti stem has almost 10 mm lower stack than the yellow one and I cba to shorten the steerer again.

Yeah, took it for a spin in the woods and there's a lot of front shifting needed compared to road bikes. Currently running 3x8. Not sure how 1x10 or 11 compares. Realistically I'll probably run this drivetrain until it wears out and then consider other options. Apparently the bcd on these cranks is a bizarre 95 mm, a one year only thing so when the rings are shot I'll have to get new cranks. What are the odds? I hate how nothing ever gets standardised with bikes.

Got this in the mail courtesy of @MCamberwell and it's obviously a very urgent and necessary upgrade.

1x10 was fine for me, got it on the commuter even with a road casette. I ran a 32 front and 11-36 and had no problem doing heavy touring and steep trails on my fargo. I didn't find for off road at least that the gear range was too limited

Not been doing much with this and I suspect I won't until the weather gets worse here, been out on my road bike mostly. And I went to a tiny venue in a tiny town on the coast to see this guy, got a bit blown away really. He's playing St Pancras old church in London on September 7th apparently.
