I think Patch is trying hard to get rid of tabby passively. She spends a lot of time sitting in the garden which is something she never used to before tabby turned up. I am not even sure if they are sort of friends come to think of it. I saw both of them showing their tummy to each other in the garden... but that was right next to a patch where I had just planted some cat grass and cat mint... so they could well haven been high...

We have had the same issue with the cat next door, they seem to have come to some sort of arrangement over time and now he seems to leave her alone and she has stopped running away. It was pretty tense for a while though.
