The Twitter posse screaming about Froome-Alpaca being shit before 2011 and suddenly transforming seem to forget he really was a bit of a big fat fuck of a pro cyclist back then.

Fucking hell!
-
• #1957
Woah, compared to how he is now that's ridiculous.
-
• #1958
You just know at some point he did a ramp test and Brailsford just said "fuck me, hide the pies and get Nige Mitchell down here with some rice cakes"

He was in the front group at the foot of Alpe d'Huez on the day Sastre won the stage which set him up for victory in 2008. Essentially as a neo-pro. That shows talent, especially that far into the third week of a GT.

Greg van Avermaet won the stage today? He must be so doped. It's especially suspicious if a Belgian does well in extremely hot weather, the cheek, the cheek.

New Riis team rumours?

nothing, nothing

Someone overtook me on Whitehall the other day. These dopers are ruining commuting.

Richard Moore tweeting that Porte says he's been punched and Sky riders being abused by fans. Saw another tweet saying Froome has been loudly booed at the last two starts.

An exciting finish. Sorry for Kelderman that his efforts were in vain.
How did Sagan take the win that on the line? It looked like the road leveled a bit. Where's Ian Stannard and the rain when you need it?
Fucking GVA.

Ggggrrr.

This will be the French public that still loves Jaja and Virenque will it, abusing Sky? Silly arses.

Bauke Mollema (Trek Factory Racing) had a brief scare when he punctured in the rapid run-in to Rodez at the finish of stage 13 of the Tour de France, but luckily the flat happened inside the final 3km and he was awarded the same time as stage winner Greg Van Avermaet (BMC)
Is this really how it works - because that would mean the puncture allowed him to gain time on other riders who were with him when he punctured but lost time on the final climb?

I was wondering that as well, it seems a bizarre rule.
Just caught the highlights programme, Haas seems like a more likeable Second Place Sagan. I like jokers.
Also, the pixelated bits after JC's crash suggest that JC Jr might have been peeping out after his crash, did anyone see that on the live stream? If so, any signs of doping evident?
And why are we supposed to hate GVA?
-
• #1972
He got semi-popped fir doping earlier this season but was acquitted ,whatever that means these days.

Wasn't pixelated when i was watching it live on ITV4.
I bet JC Peraud felt knackered though...

He looked absolutely wasted yesterday. Poor old basterd.

Froome is over 6ft, so going by this pic he looks as if he weighed somewhere in the 80s although the perspective could be misleading.
BTW : when did Sky switch from Bianchi to Pinarello?

Ah crap. Probably missed you by half an hour or so. Still, £5,000 the richer.
