because that would mean the puncture allowed him to gain time on other riders who were with him when he punctured but lost time on the final climb?

I was wondering that as well, it seems a bizarre rule.

Just caught the highlights programme, Haas seems like a more likeable Second Place Sagan. I like jokers.

Also, the pixelated bits after JC's crash suggest that JC Jr might have been peeping out after his crash, did anyone see that on the live stream? If so, any signs of doping evident?

And why are we supposed to hate GVA?

Wasn't pixelated when i was watching it live on ITV4.

I bet JC Peraud felt knackered though...
