Top ten in the Tour is valuable (for the rider in salary negotiations and for the team in World Tour points). So a lot of teams will be looking to ensure they get that.

I want to know where Haimar 'Top 10' Zubeldia is.

He's been replaced by Bauke Mollema. A new, upgraded version of the rider who comes 7th without anyone noticing.

ha! afraid so. Gesink* about the same, seems better this year but there will be no Tour winners from Holland for a while.

*terrible moment for a flat, hope he gets back to Froome group Italian style - rapido
