Wasn't really aimed at you. I laughed at your comment.

I agree, and I believe that Froome is believable but that belief is tempered by the knowledge it could all come crashing down in the future #oncebittentwiceshy

Astana and Tinkoff kick the shit out of each other with the B team at the Giro and then get bullied by Movistar at the Tour.

100% this.
It would be nice if some of the attention could shift onto the Yates brothers.
Their progression is encouraging for cycling in general (obviously British cycling but to see young riders doing so well is good overall).

The legacy of Armstrong is that no one can now excel in cycling without being accused of doping.
If Froome is doping there is no way that Sky are not complicit and therefore, by extension, the credibility of the whole British Cycling set up is put into question and all of the success that has come over the past few years on the track is in doubt.
Then again, as there is no evidence of doping (and in Armstrong's case there was) I would prefer to believe that training methods and other marginal gains have achieved this extraordinary result.
Froome's performances since 2011 have improved spectacularly. But he is no longer a domestique. He is having possibly the best training programme in sport focused on him.
I am not a Froome fan. I dislike the obsession with him and Sky in the British media. I hope and still believe that he is clean.

I don't lok to professional winners as heros.

Which is probably one reason for supporting Derby.
Personally, I look to you as my hero, damo.
-
• #1516
I guess it's the first time you've looked down on someone as a hero then?

Such bantz.

Should be another good stage today, I wonder if Valverde/ Movistar will be more subtle with their attacks today
-
• #1519
How does a subtle attack work again?

Camouflage. They'll stick twigs in their helmets and try to blend into the background.

The Yates brothers are clearly on drugs.
That sort of thing?
-
• #1522
They climbed a hill yesterday, clearly on something.
Reminds me:

• #1523
is this what all the fuss is about?
-
• #1524
The ones accusing him of unnatural performances? Yeah, I'm sure being minutes ahead of everyone and your teammate passing another favourite to claim second will totally shut them up...

It is over. Fucking jokes.
are you suggesting he is an arsenal fan or one of these guys
