'Fine acetate'? Is that actually a thing?

Christ those things are ugly. Like something my Mum would buy.

"Stupid and Pricey" as the new "Nice but Pricey?" Trying to pull off a POC, but missing the target horribly.

They have a little bit of Mario about them:
Not in a good way.

Equal parts that and Ronnie Barker.
One for the Rapha completists only

I love those Assos glasses!
Admittedly, they do look a bit bizarre but they are a-Mazing.

Rapha baselayers.
Mesh merino
Mesh pro teamWhy one over other? I have the merino and like it, but wondered if the pro team would wick faster?
This isn't much detailed help.. http://pages.rapha.cc/products/autumn-and-winter-base-layer-guide

I havent ridden without pro team mesh for last 2k miles. Would reccomend, really versatile in terms of temp .. wicking in heat, an extra layer in slightly chilly. Merino mesh looks even better on paper; haven't tried.

Merino mesh is neither here nor there. I'd take pro team mesh for summer riding, wicks better. If you need the warmth of merino then you need a thicker base layer.
Merino mesh good for early season racing though.

yeah, I've got the merino mesh. I always use it. never without it.
Just wondered if the pro team would be better for wicking and drying if wet.
-
• #21321
You look at the merino mesh? It's 70% polyester and 30% merino. So not just merino.

I have one also. Didn't realise it was that much polyester though

• #21323
Yeah, me neither till I just went and looked. That's why I asked what a Pro team one will do that merino wont. Basically will it wick and dry better?
-
• #21324
Its amazing for wicking heat; I wore it in India while riding and running but then again I expect that from any half decent mesh base layer like craft or castelli; rapha is nice but ...
I wash it once a week.

Probably smell a bit more after a few months. Would expect better wicking and drying, yes.
If anyone wants a XXL Bomber Jacket for £45
