Wow my multistrada must be unique coming with panniers ;) The bikes can be lowered easily and seats remodelled. Get ones with the lightweight wheels, amazing handling difference and an s with the ohlins suspension. Belts on the 1000 and 1100 are easily done.

Obviously you can fit panniers. I can fit them on my NC700. The Deauville has them built in which means they're always there and a slimmer overall profile than bolted on ones.
Also, what's the point in buying something and then having to fettle with the seat, wheels, drivetrain and luggage just to get it set up similar to another bike that already exists? Madness...

I'd rather get something that was already set up for touring (included paniers etc) and the Multistrada seat height is a bit much if i'm also going to be using it around town etc.
