No CB - original cleaner ETA / new busy in-house.
Think it's the same price, around the 3k mark but if you shop clever you could get for less. I've seen originals (ETA) going for around 2k new, boxed, etc.

Anyone have a Hamilton auto field officer they want to part with?

Has anyone used chrono24? It looks like a well set up website, but I just want someone elses opinion

Be careful would be my advice. Lots of people on here have used the platform to purchase a Rolex or similar and ended up with a Steinhart clone. Approach with caution.

Have a search in this thread. I have been looking to buy and this is a summary of what people seem to say on watch forums:
- it is just a market place for watches (like eBay, Gumtree)
- their "trusted seller" ratings are meaningless
- you are unlikely to get any support from Chrono24
One thing lots of people point out is that most of the good sellers are actual shops. So do your research - Google map, cross check tel no.s, call them up, ask for additional photos of the watch to check they do have it, never buy from the Far East.
Or go to the shop. If they're in Europe they might meet in an airport and the cost of flying maybe on par with the PayPal fees.

The deal is done. Have got a cracking price on a new full kit Pelagos, the original ETA without War & Peace on the dial.
So that's one for the wrist and one for the safe. Was going to get a submariner but from comparing the two together in reality the submariner is a bit of a lump. Because the Pelagos is Ti you hardly notice it when wearing even though it has presence and is by no means a small watch. The sub is also shinier and glossier, which I don't really like to be honest.
Still, think it's an investment so have gone for it. Just need Murtz to hit me up with a starp but buckle must be Ti :)

I tried the Pelagos on in Munich airport today.
Very nice but a little too big for me. Migh just be because I've been wearing the 36mm explorer for the last couple of weeks.

Congrats. The Pelagos is a gem, the quintessential modern diver.
I'm off to the Rolex AD on Wednesday morning to get my hands on the Tudor North Flag for the first time. If I like it, I'll be putting down a deposit. If not, then maybe a Black Bay, Pelagos or Ranger. Outside chance of an Explorer or the new 39mm OP (which I've tried on, and it's a beaut).
