...Sold to me at the asking price, then withdrawn at the last moment because, you said, you'd found a small crack in the frame. Kudos to you, cyclists' code of honour and all that. So I was more than a little surprised to find what looked like the same bike offered for sale on BikeRadar on 17th June, for 900 pounds. After I'd emailed you asking for clarification the bike was withdrawn the following day, 9th July. I'm sure you can provide a perfectly reasonable explanation, which I and other users of this forum would be interested in hearing.

I told you that I was worried it had a crack and it needed checking out - which I was and I did - it was paint cracks only after x-rays from a specialist. I had pulled out of the sale with you as a result of wanting to check this out…..
…..after checking it out I actually parted the bike out and sold it all separately (some sold on here) - I'd forgotten about the listing on bikeradar, which i did indeed remove thanks to your reminder.
I have nearly 700 positive feedbacks on ebay and I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on here over the years (and donated to the forum) - I'm not a trader, but I am a bit OCD so I go through kit like there's no tomorrow and I would not do anything to upset a buyer. I'd pulled out of the deal with you….checked out what I said I would and decided to re-advertise…..not sure what else I can say really, other than I perhaps should have come back to you with an update??
Knowing how this place tends to work, I'll sit back with a brew and wait to be duly flamed!

I've had some dealings with Velocipede65 in the past and he was a v nice chap.

Really? It checks out OK so you put it on a different forum at a higher price rather than, as you admit, coming back to offer me a second bite. And then forget you posted it. It's full of holes, but I think best put to bed.

I'm not entirely sure what you're accusing me of……but I'm sorry that you seem upset about it. As you say, best put to bed….
These frames are the same model as the domestic Raleigh Pro team used in 2012. This was originally built as team spec with full DA 7900 group set and RS80 wheels (original cost £4,800) but since then the spec has been watered down a bit with some Ultegra 6700 bits and R500 training wheels….raced sparingly for two seasons and in good shape….it was around 15lbs in DA spec, so prob no more than 17.5lbs or so now even with the training wheels on….throw all your preconceptions about the brand away, this is a fab bike!!
55cm Raleigh SP Team carbon frame set with monocoque forks, inc carbon dropouts to frame and forks
DA 7900 brakes and 52/39 chain set
Ultegra 6700 carbon shifters and front & rear mechs
R500 wheels (decals removed) - SRAM 11-23 10 speed cassette (nearly new)
Cinelli Vai stem 11cm
Deda bars 42cm
Specialized Phat Wrap tape with gel pads under (super comfy)
ITM Pathom carbon seatpost
San Marco Concor team seat (bit of wear)
New cables all round
Will come with a pair of vgc Michelin Pro4 tyres, not the Gatorskins shown
SPD-SL pedals not included although I have another pair in White/Blue that go with the bike and I'll include those
Garmin and mount not included!
£845 - I'm in Cheshire
