For sale: some Sheffield steel, a 1988/1989 Orbit Pro Touring-Racer-Audax
Reynolds 531 'Designer Selected Tubing' - 531c top tube and seat stays, 531st seat tube and down tube, 531 forks.
-60cm seattube, 59cm toptube (set up in pictures for 185cm rider).
-Black Mavic Open Pro rims with 105 hubs. Some brake-wear on the rim. Recently trued and bearings greased. Run nicely.
-Cinelli bar and stem.
-Shimano 105 headset, front & rear mech and cranks, rx100 calipers and downtube shifters, ex500 levers. All smooth.
-Newish Stronglight 52x39 double chainring, newish Shimano 7 speed cassette.
-Rolls saddle, newish bartape. (Happy to sell bike for ₤20 less without saddle).
-Specialized tubes and tyres (700x25).
Pedals in pictures not included (unless you want them, they're crap though. Can also throw in some 90s shimano SPD's).
Overall condition of bike is good. It rides smoothly. Paint might need touching up in a few spots (note the largest spot on the right side of the downtube) and eventually re-coating. Tiny ding on top tube (see photo 3), difficult to spot but is noticeable if you run your hand over the frame. Would make a nice commuter; it's a bit racey but is designed for touring.
Asking ₤180, or ₤160 without the saddle (fair, I hope?). Not looking to split as I'm in the process of moving.
Cash on collection at or near London Fields preferred. I'd also consider shipping within the UK via courier if arranged by buyer. No paypal, they suck.
