Fford Pen Llech in Harlech. Not as long but hits 40% so a tad steeper than Rosedale. Moderately brutal.
But one-way going down only isn't it? Never bothered to stray off the Bryan Chapman to find out.
A few that stick in my memory from various rides:-
- White Down (Surrey Hills) - 18% but probably steeper on the inside of the hairpin
- The road out of Pont-Rhyd-Y-Groes towards Cwmystwyth on the Elenith - 18%
- The Devil's Staircase - Abergwesyn - 25%
18% is about the limit of my fixed climbing on 67", so that's a good benchmark for me.
