I was in the studio again yesterday. Being filmed for a live session thing. Did three runs though of five tracks. Started out with the studio's beautiful 50's Gibson J50 but made a right hash of the turnarounds as I wasn't used to the guitar. Decided to switch back to my little Guild which is much easier to play. It sounded so thin and reedy after the big pokey Gibson. Had a re-think and decided to man up and after 20 minutes getting used to the Gibson stuck with it for the rest of the day. My fingers are beat up today. I only have half a nail left on my right hand middle finger. I hope it turns out ok. Not looking forward to seeing my knackered gurning face and snaggle-teeth in glorious technicolour close up tbh. At least the guitar will look cool.
