I've been planning on doing Glasgow (where I live) to Inverness but via a different route.
I want to go Glasgow > Creiff > Glen Almond > Loch Tay (via a petty rough foot/farm path) > Laggan > Fort Augustus (via Gen. Wades military road/ Corrieyairick Pass) > Inverness (via the quiet side of the Loch and including a night in/around Boleskine).
I don't have time off at the end of the month either.
