Reasonably sure it's not just a shim as the seatpost in it is a 27.2mm which is what Lynskey advertise as being the size. The thickness of the actual tube is tiny, horrifyingly so :-).. I'll take it apart and have another look in a bit. It'll make me feel better about not having been for a ride today
