Apologies if this has been asked a million times but can anyone recommend an insurer for bikes? I tried Hiscox but they won't cover me as I'm under 30 and they don't cover the post code I live in.

Is that even legal?
-
• #69505
Sure.
Except in a few, very limited circumstances, no underwriter is obliged to offer cover.

I can't vouch for the quality of service but my club is sponsored by Yellow Jersey.

Anyone ever changed the name of a passenger on a Virgin ticket (regular Virgin and East Coast)? I can't find info on how to do it online.
-
• #69508
Why do you need to change the name? It doesn't matter who uses the ticket normally.

What is the correct etiquette when selling a tubular rim?
Presumably I should clean off all the old tub glue but it's a faff and I can't really be bothered. Also it might save the buyer some time in layering up a few coats of glue themselves.

+£10 if you want it cleaned.

Can one get a one inch a-head 25-30 mm rake fork drilled for a brake of the peg?
There's some road forks/used forks, but rake usually starts at 35 and the measured rake is 28. New, forget it, all 45 or 1 1/8th... :/
No need for something fancy.
TL:DR steep head angle, more rake is less trail in that case -

Because it says on the ticket the user must have ID with the name on the ticket on it and the person it was originally for is no longer going.

For the record, Virgin East Coast told me (on twitter) than they don't care about the name. Virgin Trains said that the name can't be changed. So I've been told it's fine for one way, but not really sure about the other.
