Talk on the ITV show of a bit of handbags when NIbali chucked his bidon at Froome at the end as he thought he was responsible for the crash.

Agent froome

There was some confusion as to who caused the crash, wanted to clear that up with @AstanaTeam @vincenzonibali (definitely wasn’t me!)

Everyone loves TM, especially me, he was my main points scorer. But seriously gutted for him, you knew immediately on seeing him on the deck holding his arm that way. Such a shame he's not there to animate the Tour anymore

Tony, for you ze tour is over :(

Tony's face crossing the line on Tuesday vs his face today being pushed to the line by his team mates...breaking my heart.

MTN Quebeka staked their claim on the jersey no-one gives an actual fuck about.
Tony Martin rode like a nodder.

Nibali on so many drugs he thinks him falling over onto Chris Froome is Chris Froome's fault

This. How on earth did he manage to think it was froomes fault? WAC
-
• #1041
Maybe he thought Froome was in yellow. Forgetful Nibbles.

this tdf is nuts. i wonder how nairo fared after that crash.
-
• #1043
Fell on his arm but okay apparently.
Froome went to the Astana bus to have a chat with Nibali after his comment and seems to have taken Luke Rowe with him as muscle according to the Cycling Podcast.

Nibali blamed Froome for the crash and threw a bidon at him after the finish.
Although from the video replay it looked as though Martin came right and hit Nibali who then swerved into Froome who was lucky the stay upright, in this instance I am happy to give Nibali the benefit of the doubt.

Froome should have gone over to cushion Nibali's fall. It would have been the decent thing.

• #1046
Surely Froome was the first African to wear a jersey?
-
• #1047
Robbie Hunter would disagree. Angrily.

They don't all go around just wearing loincloths you know.

And as mentioned on here earlier this week, Virenque was born in Africa. I bet other French yellow jersey holders have been in the past.
Fark; Tony was wandering around being awarded YJ etc with a bit of his collarbone poking through the skin.
