Painting pink over black wont work. You need a white base layer for pink to work well.
Behind yellow, pink is the most annoying colour to paint, the base colour underneath can change the colour of the top coat massively.
To fade from pink to black, you would need to paint the pink first, then the black over the top.
You might be able to get the pink to work on top of the black, but you would need a stupid amount of coats.... and lots of coats and fade jobs dont mix. The key to a good fade is to use as little paint as possible.
