He's selling on an italian forum as well (which goes against the rules here, @Carlo_Alberto!) and it seems that Diego Vitali was a frame builder in Emilia Romagna in the town of Ravenna non that far away from where Somec is. Indeed it seems that the painters were the same for both and that vicinity also explains why they look similar.
Btw, in the Italian thread it is said that the crown is not a unicrown one, but simply a normal sloping one.
