I ran in (as I do quite often on a Thursday). Didn't want to run but given the alternative was the train (which would be rammed way more than normal) it wasn't that hard a choice.
Saw quite a few people trying to get into Putney Bridge tube station blissfully unaware that there was a strike on. That's their day off to a good start.
Seemed to be a few more people than normal walking in, which is nice. Many more Boris/Ken/Jenny bikes than normal along Chelsea Embankment/Grosvenor Road/Millbank.
Faaaasands of people crossing Upper Ground (from Waterloo) to cross the river into town.
