• ba boom tish!
was over spitalfields as it happens, bumped into a whole 'crew' from midlands on vintage bmxs, haro freestylers, pk rippers and gts etc, owner was older than me (seemingly) and my size, and i've been keeping em peeled for a trickstar, one pink one was in usa with ww shipping, there was a race one and trickstar available over there for the price of the pink frame, a fucking bargain, but no global shipping (
the owner of the chrome one was pretty market aware, there was one refurbed example listed in uk @ circa $14k, guy i spoke with doubted this price would be realised, saying ceiling price was about 30% of that max
arguably the most prized vintage freestyle bmx
the gold frame is listed on the bay, quite a machiavellian listing, as all the parts are stated as available, with poa, if some one does buy, they may be inclined to go full bling, one wonders what the total price would be

  • Yeah Bob Haro had a thing this weekend in Hoxton Gallery, I was going to go, but I ended up bumping into Rodney Mullen, and seeing as I love skateboarding more than bikes, I ended up skating with the Globe shoes team all day!
There seems to be a big retro bmx scene in the midlands, Birmingham especially, every summer they'd all be out cruising the streets, someone had a pink hutch and it's made me want one!

  • Haro have re issued the master/freestyler recently

the bay pink trickstar is metalic , which i prefer over the other pink, a scandanavian bmx blogger has one i think he sourced in that region
    this is the bay one
