Sorry just doubled checked the sizing, now i'm at home. Its actually a size 52cm in All City's weird geometry but it does have a 55cm top tube (which was what threw me). I'm 6ft with relatively short legs and long torso

Both interested and conflicted.
Without the chain tug does the rear wheel slip forward?
I'm trying to be sensible and buy a bike I need but this just looks like so much fun to ride. -

To be honest I'm not sure, i've only ridden it once without it. A mate has a nature boy and before buying it and he advised me to put a Surly Tugnut on it pretty much straight away as he'd experienced slipping when sprinting or climbing.
Its also got halo (allen key) track skewers on it as well just in case. You can put the Tugnuts on both sides to to secure it even further but i've found one side was fine.
FYI You can pick up the Tugnuts pretty cheap... http://tinyurl.com/nq7kyb9 they're well made nice solid components - and it doubles as a bottle opener

I've got a nature boy and ride it SS without chain tensioners or tugs - no problems at all with mine.
Beautiful build and great price, GLWS.

My nature boy has screws that butt up against the wheel, built into the frame like Paul dropouts.
I thought it was standard on All City bikes.
-
• #13
Is there not threaded holes in those dropouts? Looks like it from the photos but it could just be a trick of light.
-

See orginal description 'The frame did come with dropout screws but i found them getting clogged up so i replaced them with a Surly chain tug'
Yes the holes are still there but I preferred using a chain tug.
I'm in tomorrow and Friday night if you want to go take a look at the bike.

All City Nature Boy - Single Speed CX bike 55CM
£400
Brought as a frameset from Triton cycles early last year then built up with specific parts. Really fun bike to ride, i'm just not getting enough use out of it at the moment - hence reason for sale.
Powdered coated gloss back by Amourtex last year, so the paint is in pretty good condition apart from the usual marks from cable rub etc. The frame did come with dropout screws but i found them getting clogged up so i replaced them with a Surly chain tug. I've moved this onto another bike though something similar will need to be used.
It has 130mm rear spacing so you can run it fixed or free, i've ridden it free so it has a Gusset adapter on it. I've currently got a 16t rear cog which is perfect for single track, canal paths etc. I've also got a 18t and 20t which are more suited to hilly outings.
With the fork and decent components its light enough to be raced or you can stick a pair of road tyres on its the perfect utility bike - I've ridden the Dynamo on it.
