Just finally caught the end after having to abandon coverage at 70k to go. Yes Martin, so stoked for him. Banging win.

• #753
How come BMC are wearing yellow helmets if they don't have the yellow jersey?
-
• #754
Top team.
-
• #755
Brilliant stage today! Tony Martin is such an absolute smasher. Froome must be glad to have that one over and done with and is probably more than happy to let Tony take yellow for a bit.

Degenkolb is cool as fuck
His hair is also looking great, not sure why

lolz

Apart from Tony of course I'd say Quintana had the best ride of the day. Racing those 2 cobbled classics earlier in the year really paid off. He fought tooth and nail to stay in that group and managed to hang on. That took a lot of heart.

David walsh is really being a bell end.
He's fallen a long way.

• #760
^Fuck the hypocrisy, is that you?

'On my bike!'

Brama is a legend.
The contrast between him and Holm is fantastic.
-
• #764
Why?
-
• #765
He was in bed with froome, but now is backing Quintana straight out.
He proclaimed G as being the best ride of the day today (he is undoutbly a monster) but clearly Tony or even his Quintana did best rides.
He just talks some rubbish and often contradicts himself.

• #766
hahahaha! great footage.

He just talks some rubbish and often contradicts himself.
He's human like the rest of us then.
-
• #768
Yes agreed. But he's a journalist who once stood up to Lance.
-
• #769
His extended riff on Rohan Dennis not being able to defend his YJ whilst ignoring fact if he tried to bridge he'd just drag Nibz etc. over to TVG suggested (as someone said on Twitter) "he knows alot more about Lance than about bike races"
-
• #770
He also refuses to even acknowledge there a doping problem in his beloved Rugby Union. He's still a fan with a typewriter in other sports
-
• #771
Let's not forget he shot a gypsy burglar in the back.
Romany Bardet?
-
• #772
Just finished watching that - seeing Tony win was a highlight of the year so far

I think it might be time for ITV to replace Phil and Paul.
Today's high moment was referring to Kwiatkowski as Costa when riding on the front.
Ned Boulting and David Millar would be my chosen combo.
-
• #774
Is it Millar doing the voiceover for the Samsung Advert? Or just someone who has captured his ability to sound very pleased with himself all the time?

It was time about 15 years ago.
Anyway, this is their last Tour with ITV. Thank fuck.
Legend. Can't believe he's still not been knighted. It's political correctness gone mad.
