    Seriously though, tyres don't have weight limits as such.

    89kg is chubbing-up nicely, but hardly 'merican.

    23mm are fast becoming outdated on the road.

    tl/dr
    You'll be fine, but fatter tyres are better on the road and thinner tyres are better if you're time trialling.

    but these tyres are a legacy of the unknowing mrs mespilus buying mespilus jr a bike she knew nothing about.

    'time trialling', ha ha ha,
    not this year. Seldom hit 20 mph for a measured half mile, within a longer ride.
    TT'ing will have to wait until the next stone, at least is shed.
