2 bikes? I would have to sell some more stuff then :P
Got a nice fixed frame laying around I can build up using this stuff and have a cool 8 speed road/tt bike with freewheel for going to work with. Then I can sell my roadbike which is a bit too big, sell my beach cruiser, my mountain bike and some other bikes as well. Got too many of them anyway. Takes up too much space.
And 250 is still cheap for this combo

At that price you're out of your mind if you're going to be improvising with that crap. Get a used road bike, have two bikes, be done.
